Before you order

Are these actually written with a real pen?
Yes. Every Real Penned Letter is written with a real ballpoint pen and blue ink on paper. The strokes and pen pressure are real and you can feel the indentation. It isn't a printed handwriting font.
How is this different from Personal Letters?

Real Penned Letters are written with a real pen and ink, which makes them the most authentic and most premium letter we offer. Our Personal Letters use a realistic handwriting-style font that's printed; they cost less per piece and scale faster for larger volumes.

Should I choose Cursive or Print?
Cursive (the default) reads as the most personal and is the most common choice. Print is easier to read at a glance and works well for longer messages or older audiences. Print adds $0.18 per mailer.
What's the difference between Standard Class and a First-Class Forever Stamp?
Standard Class is the lower-cost option and takes longer to deliver. A real First-Class Forever Stamp delivers faster and gives the envelope the most authentic personal-mail look. With the forever stamp you can also choose "Mail me my letters," and we ship them to you in boxes of 500 ($19 per box) so you can drop them yourself.
Can I use my own list?
Yes. Upload your own list or have us build you a targeted mailing list. Every order runs through NCOA and address verification before printing so you're not paying to mail bad addresses.
Is there a minimum order?
The minimum is 200 mailers. Need to send fewer? Open Letter Connect lets you trigger one-off and low-volume letters on demand, with no minimum. Per-piece pricing here drops as volume increases; see the volume pricing table above.
