Managed Programs
Your own direct mail team
We pull the data, build the strategy, design every piece, and track every response, then meet with you each month to sharpen what's working. Your only job is closing the business it brings in.
- Roofers and HVAC covering a service area
- Investors sourcing off-market deals
- Agents farming the neighborhoods they want listings in
- Landscapers building density around existing routes
We were struggling to find a reliable channel that brought in high-quality leads for our company. Within four months of starting with OLM, direct mail became our highest performing channel, delivering consistent, qualified leads.
Your marketing team, not a vendor
Most direct mail companies hand you a portal and a price. We hand you a dedicated marketing expert who learns your business, runs the entire program, and reports to you every month.
You make two calls: who you want to mail and roughly how it should run. We handle the rest, including the decisions most portals leave to you: which format to mail, how many households to reach, and how often they should hear from you.
Pick the goal. We build the rest.
Both programs are managed start to finish on a fixed term, with one monthly figure you agree to up front.
We pull the list once and mail those same households every month of the term. Repetition is what turns mail into deals, so one drop is a test and six drops is a program. The volume is set at the start, so your monthly cost is known on day one and does not move.
Market farming
Mail every household in a defined area until your name is the one people think of first. Best when the geography matters more than the individual.
Targeted prospecting
Absentee owners, length of ownership, age of home, household income, whatever the offer calls for.
Service area saturation
Cover the radius you actually serve, at volume. Built for trades where proximity and repetition do more than precise targeting.
Running a seasonal business does not change the program. It changes when you start it. A roofer running July through September is running a 3-month acquisition program timed to the season.
How your program gets built
Nothing here is thrown together. Every step is engineered to deliver the leads you want.
We learn your business
Your goals, your sales team, and how leads come in, before we build anything.
We pull the right data
Property, consumer, demographic, and predictive data, pulled for results.
We design the program
Format, offer, creative and cadence, chosen around the goal and split tested.
We mail and track
We print, verify addresses, mail each drop, and track every response.
We report to you
A monthly KPI review, plus what we're adjusting to keep improving.
You make three decisions. We make the rest.
A program is not a portal with support attached. The work moves to our side of the table.
We handle
- Building and verifying the audience
- Choosing the mail format and the cadence
- Copy and design for every touch
- Printing, postage and mailing from our own facility
- Address verification before every drop
- The drop calendar for the full term
- Tracking numbers, reporting and the monthly review
You handle
- 1Tell us who you want to mail and the market you want covered, or send us your own list
- 2Approve the offer and the creative before it prints
- 3Take the calls the mail brings in
Questions, answered
No. Building the list is part of the service, targeted to who you want to reach and run through NCOA and address verification. If you already have a list, we can work from that too.
2,500 records per drop and a three-month minimum term. Direct mail works through repetition, and three months gives the program enough drops to produce data worth acting on. Terms of four, five and six months earn a better rate. For lower volume or one-off sends, Open Letter Connect is usually the better fit.
Acquisition reaches people who do not know you yet, and we build the list. Retention and winback mail the customers and leads you already have, using your list. Both run 3 to 6 months, and the longer the term the lower the monthly rate.
One charge a month, on the same day, for the same amount, using the card you have on file. On acquisition and on a fixed retention list, that single charge is the whole program and nothing else is billed. If you connect your CRM so new customers join the program automatically, anything mailed beyond your starting list can be billed as it is used.
Yes. A seasonal business runs the same program, it just starts at a different time of year. We map your season first, then set the term so the mail lands ahead of demand instead of during it.
Each program gets a dedicated tracking phone number and QR codes on the mail, so both the calls and the scans your mail drives are captured and tied back to the drop that caused them. We report the KPIs that matter for your objective and walk through them in the monthly meeting.
It begins with the kickoff strategy session. Once we understand your goals and how you take in and close leads, we build the list and strategy, design the first mailers, and schedule the first drop.
Yes, and we expect to. Each month we read the response data, split test pieces and offers when it's worth testing, and apply what wins to the next drop. The program keeps evolving as the results come in, while the term and the volume you agreed to stay fixed.
